Hole 1

Par 4
385 Yards
Par 4
336 Yards
Par 4
302 Yards

A daunting tee shot awaits for your first swing of the day. With OOB right and a bunker just short of the ditch left, an accurate shot is a must here.

Perfect line is at the bunker to open up the green, longer hitters will favour the carry but beware anything right and you will struggle to save Par.

Hole 2

Par 4
350 Yards
Par 4
344 Yards
Par 4
338 Yards

A sensible tee shot to a forgiving fairway will leave a mid iron to the green. Driver may bring into play the fairway bunkers, try to carry them and another awaits. With the mounding to the right a longer iron to the green may be your best option.

Hole 3

Par 4
351 Yards
Par 4
343 Yards
Par 4
331 Yards

Favour the left side of the fairway here with a long iron/fairway wood to leave the ideal line into this deceptive green. A bunker short right protects the green well so be sure of club selection when attacking the flag.

Hole 4

Par 3
124 Yards
Par 3
119 Yards
Par 3
110 Yards

A short but very picturesque Par 3, with a large bunker protecting the front of the green ensuring it plays every yard its distance. Beware of the green here, not one to offer a ‘gimmie’.

Hole 5

Par 4
327 Yards
Par 4
272 Yards
Par 4
245 Yards

The shortest of the Par 4’s, longer hitters will be enticed to drive the green. However with reward comes risk, this time in the form of trees short right and bunkers short left & right , with two more waiting to catch anything running off the back. The sensible shot is an iron or fairway wood up the left side of the fairway opening up the green, leaving a short approach and a birdie opportunity.

Hole 6

Par 4
402 Yards
Par 4
373 Yards
Par 4
342 Yards

A tough tee shot requiring distance and accuracy. Longer hitters will take on the dog leg however beware the OOB on the right. A deceptive green sloping from front to back means distance is the key to your approach. Sometimes a bogey will do!

Hole 7

Par 4
340 Yards
Par 4
328 Yards
Par 4
311 Yards

A testing and yet tempting par 4. Keep your score ticking over with a sensible tee shot. A long iron/fairway wood at the left side bunker will leave a mid iron to an open green. Two bunkers guard the front left and right. Be overzealous off the tee and bogey is sure to catch you out.

Hole 8

Par 4
318 Yards
Par 4
309 Yards
Par 4
297 Yards

One of the straightest holes on the course. A sloping fairway from tee to green adds length to this hole, so club selection is vital for your approach shot. A sloping 2 tier green awaits ensuring Par is not a given. In Matchplay when the flag is on the top tier, make your opponent putt out!

Hole 9

Par 5
525 Yards
Par 5
516 Yards
Par 5
506 Yards

The first of 3 par 5’s. The longer hitters will take on the ditch, the question is with another to carry further down the fairway and internal OOB to the right is it worth it? A long iron/fairway wood to the ditch, followed by a mid iron is required to leave a sensible distance to the green. Play it as the par suggests, too aggressive and any number can be accumulated.

Hole 10

Par 5
514 Yards
Par 5
506 Yards
Par 5
491 Yards

Driving back up the hill, distance is crucial if you are to carry the 2nd ditch in 2, with any strayed drives potentially caught out by bunkers either side of the fairway. The approach gets very narrow with bunkers hugging the right hand side so longer hitters going for the green in 2 beware. The generously sized green is protected by a deep left sized bunker, a shot into the heart of this relatively flat green sets up a birdie chance.

Hole 11

Par 4
457 Yards
Par 4
452 Yards
Par 4
372 Yards

By far the most difficult hole on the course requiring accuracy and distance off the tee. The fairway slopes from left to right towards 2 bunkers, OOB and 3 pot bunkers hug the left side. A long narrow approach shot awaits into the smallest of the greens and one that is well protected. Bogey would again be acceptable.

Hole 12

Par 4
381 Yards
Par 4
375 Yards
Par 4
309 Yards

Fortune favours the brave. With a 216 yard carry over the ditch from the white tees, driver may not always be the best option. Longer hitters will be rewarded but beware of the bunker that lies in wait of the fading tee shot. A long-mid iron will leave you the same again into a well protected 2-tier green. When the pin is cut on the upper tier, favour the right hand side of the green, left, and its a 3 putt for certain.

Hole 13

Par 3
219 Yards
Par 3
213 Yards
Par 3
197 Yards

The first of 2 par 3’s measuring over 200 yards. Bunkers wait either side for the wayward shot however the green is generously large so not all is lost on first sight of this hole. If you doubt making the green in 1, lay up onto the large approach and target the up-and-down par.

Hole 14

Par 4
361 Yards
Par 4
329 Yards
Par 4
279 Yards

A long iron or fairway wood would be the most sensible choice here leaving about 150 yards in, but must be accurate. Longer hitters will benefit from a wider landing zone further up the fairway. Bunkers short left and right make the entry to this green difficult but use this to your advantage – take enough club and these will be no problem.

Hole 15

Par 3
146 Yards
Par 3
137 Yards
Par 3
130 Yards

Accuracy and distance play a key role in this well protected par 3, with bunkers placed short, long, left and right around a large green. Find the putting surface, however, and you could be rewarded after the last few difficult holes.

Hole 16

Par 4
??? Yards
Par 4
??? Yards
Par 4
??? Yards

Not the longest of the par 4’s but also not the most straight-forward of tee shots. A long iron or fairway wood will leave you anything up to 150 yards in to the green. Longer hitters should favour a right to left ball flight to position themselves for a shorter approach over the water. Take caution with club selection though as the fairway isn’t as long as it looks.

Hole 17

Par 3
215 Yards
Par 3
207 Yards
Par 3
197 Yards

A long iron or rescue will be the choice of club for this usually into the wind hole. With a 200 yard carry to the front edge of the green, A large approach invites the lay up to be presented with an uphill chip. Again the up-and-down par may be the smart way of thinking for those who can’t reach the green in one.

Hole 18

Par 5
540 Yards
Par 5
528 Yards
Par 5
461 Yards

A great finishing hole. This testing par 5 will play every yard its distance and probably more as you will usually find the wind in your face. You may want to avoid trying to carry the hazard and lay up instead, playing the hole as intended. Should you find yourself over the ditch from the tee, bunkers left and water right lie in wait to catch out reward seekers.
