Play at The Burstead Golf Club

The Burstead Golf Club was designed by the late Patrick Tallack in September 1991.

It was laid to seed in the spring of ’92 and opened for play in July 1993. Although relatively new, the course already shows maturity beyond its years, with the greens in particular establishing an excellent reputation.

For competitive golfers we have a full fixtures list for men, ladies, seniors and juniors, with plenty of time being allowed for social golf. We operate a computerised booking system which allows members the freedom to pre-book tee times, up to 14 days in advance and also we have a policy of no visitors during prime times, so booking a tee time couldn’t be easier!

Golf Facilities

The Burstead begins at the source of the River Crouch and is set on a classic parkland landscape with adjoining rolling fields, ancient woodland and hedgerows creating a challenging golf course.

The pro shop team are on hand to offer advice on equipment, and will take care of your tee times and any hire equipment you may need such as clubs, trolleys or buggies.

Our resident PGA Professional offers lessons for golfers of all abilities and these are available to members and non-members. Lessons can be tailored to work with you on any aspect of your game that may require improvement.
